Welcome to the new Sundown website! Well mostly new, there's some of the old stuff still around, but Harrison and I have been working to update almost everything on the site, to make it more useful to all of you, and a better landing page for new members of Sundown. We hope that you guys like what you see, and as always you can direct any feedback to me (Linda Pravdin) or Harrison Lotto.
One of my goals with the site is to regularly update with news and updates like this one every 2 weeks, along with event postings. To go along with this goal, I'll be posting the notes from the most recent FC Meeting to keep you all in the loop if you couldn't make it, and I'll be doing this for our future meetings as well. A big shout out to Akari for helping me compile notes for all of you.

Meeting Schedule
We will be holding a regular FC meeting towards the end of every month, FC members can give their input and will get regular feedback about admin activities regarding earlier given feedback. Meeting notes will be accessible in the forums after each meeting. If you can't make it to a meeting but have ideas bring them up to any of the admins and we will include them in the meeting for you, so don't feel down if you can't make it, we want to hear your ideas and share them with everyone.
Roleplay
Lyra Chattran and Thurlan Elessar are hosting weekly roleplay events. They are kept casual and are designed to give our members who are interested in learning how to rp a good opportunity to learn the basics of it. There is no set story, so don't be shy and just check it out, and you can work on creating your own character or to get familiar with roleplay etiquette. There is no set date- so make sure to check the announcement section or the company board each week! Furthermore we added a RP-rank in discord. Ask U'leo Tia or Izuna Yuki to get it changed. With the RP rank you get the “@roleplayers” global messages, so make sure to get your rank changed to not miss anything interesting in the roleplay channel!
Q: Will there be any RP arc/bigger story soon? A: At the moment we are working to get a group of regular roleplayers together attending the weekly event. Once we have a steady group of regulars we would love to create a long term story arc! So get to brainstorming of some storylines you'd like to see soon!
Discord We were thinking about adding some useful/interesting bots to the FC's discord channel.
Music bot: General interest from the members, so we will try it out. Will be fun for group events like maps or beach parties! (needs a separate writing and voice chat channel + sticky with rules) ( You may have noticed this one is already active in the FC discord)
Event RP bot: This Bot can report about upcoming RP events on Balmung, thanks to the Balmung RP tumblr account Kupo Bot: Provides useful information about FFXIV right in the FC discord
Events
Veesa Declyne's Screenshot Contest is still running! Check the announcement section and this very website for more details! Anyone who has an idea for an event is encouraged to bring it up with an admin. We are always happy to help you plan and advertise it and see your idea realized! :D
Website We are in need for new pictures for the website, so please all make lots of screenshots and don't hesitate to tag me or Harisson in them to see them here on the website :)
Feedback from the FC -Add link to the website in discord -A general channel with links and rules in discord -Event idea for weekly low level dungeon runs to give people the chance to level new classes/ get familiar with classes they rarely play. Eiryah has graciously volunteered to hold these events, we'll be talking with them about getting this set up for everyone soon \o/ Q: Will we change the house? We can change the house interior or exterior on a regular basis. At the moment every 4 or 6 months are the proposed options. We will discuss which of these two options will be chosen at the next meeting. If we are about to change the house everyone will get the opportunity to give their input via polls on the website and the forum. And of course the house will be decorated for Halloween :) –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––- Also Luna Feii is going to start running Learning Parties on Mondays at 8PM CST, be sure to check in with her if you want to participate! This is a good opportunity to learn about content that you haven’t done before.
