Hey everyone! It's been another busy 2 weeks, this update is going to mostly comprise of the meeting notes from the meeting on 9/24. Thanks again to Akari for helping me get all this together, let's get underway without any delay!
1) Announcement Halloween: We are planning a special FC event for Halloween, that we're sure you'll enjoy. We haven't decided on a date yet but it will be announced as soon as we know it, so keep an eye on the announcement section!
2) Housing Renovation The next housing renovation will happen in November, after we put down our Halloween decoration. We will gather input over the course of October here on the forums. We'll be doing a total makeover of the house so be sure to input your feedback to help decide how the house will look. We will announce when we open the forum thread/polls for feedback. Take this chance to decide on the future looks of the FC!
3) Discord: We implemented a few changes in discord. Since there was a new feature to divide the channels into sub-categories we used it to make it clearer which channels are related to In Game content and which channels are for other interests. Furthermore we added the new art channel a few of you requested. At the moment it's only as a test, and in 30 days we will re-evaluate if it gets used or not. So if you like, use it! Plus: We corrected the admin role on discord so that you can @mention admins. Just add @Administrator and an admin will see your message for sure! You can either use this or reach us the old fashioned way by sending a private message.
4) Ranks: We've noticed that there are many freelancers in the FC despite how long some of them have been in the FC. We thought the most likely reason for it might be that there are too many ranks and that it seems that some people are confused about what the ranks are for and if there is any difference in privilege between them. To be absolutely clear, all non-admin ranks within the FC are exactly equal. They are merely there to show what kind of content you are most interested so that you can find other members who are interested in the kind of content you are interested in. In order to get a rank, all you have to do is talk to Izuna or U'Leoh to get your rank changed to whatever you prefer. The ranks also allow you to access the FC chest and the Orchestrion. We also had some ideas to reduce the amount of ranks in the FC to make them more clear, such as combining the gatherer and crafter ranks and the PVE ranks, be sure to send us any feedback on this, let us know what you think!
5) Feedback from the FC: -Will there be more leveling events? -Will there be pony farm events? For events like these we leave that up to you guys. If you would like to set up a pony farm or leveling event (even if it's a one time thing!) you can get in touch with the admins and we'll help you advertise it! -FC Buffs This was a rather hot topic it seems, but the general consensus appeared to be that there was a pretty universal call for more Battle EXP days, so the Admins have brainstormed a new schedule that we feel will help meet those needs while still sticking to Sundown's goal of supporting every playstyle.
