Rhemi approached the Gubal Library and found Leoh outside waiting for her.

Rhemi looked annoyed, “I was wondering how close you’d let me get. What happened? I thought you got away from Restor.”

“Hello Rhemi, it’s good to see you again. I wasn’t sure if I ever would.”

“Don’t change the subject! Given his frustration, I had high hopes. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised I haven’t heard anything from him since getting back.”

“It’s not what you think, I decommissioned the system. I actually came looking for him.”

Rhemi was taken aback, “What?! Why?”

“Ava thinks finding him can give me closure…”

Rhemi shook her head, “Not that! Why would you decommission that system?”

Leoh looked annoyed, “You should know better that it’s too much power for anyone to hold.”

Rhemi was stunned, but after a moment decided to let it go, “You know… I went by Sundown. They’re not doing so well. I think they really need you right now.”

Leoh looked away, “I can’t… not yet… it’s just too dangerous.”

Rhemi made a face, “Too dangerous? Wait a minute, Ava’s here isn’t she.”

Leoh said nothing.

Rhemi smiled, “Alright, well I’m hoping to talk to her. I trust she’ll get the message? In any case, I need to get back to tracking down the man who hurt Teta.”

Leoh hesitated for a moment then spoke up, “His name is Kalon. Ask Ilyana and Kaiori for support, they should have more information about where he’s hiding.”

“I was honestly hoping you would have more information, but at least you aren’t being helpful for the right reasons. Take good care of her okay? You can leave the dangerous parts to me.” Rhemi rode off.

Leoh watched Rhemi ride away and thought maybe it was time to go back.
