Hello everyone! Roleplay has never been the focus of Sundown, and won't be. We're not a roleplay FC, but we've got a good number of roleplayers and it's time to get some roleplay rolling here! So, where to begin? With Sundown Aetherworks!
We had started on a concept a few months back, the details are here…
So where do we go? We have two linkshells. The first is Sundown RP. This is for our RPers to talk to one another, discuss RP and setup RP, be it events, or on the fly. The second is Sundown RP Events. This is for use during RP events, mainly so the person running the event can pass information, especially to people outside of say or emote range. People who are not part of that event can turn the linkshell off during to cut down on chat spam.
We also have a seaparate forum for posting character backgrounds. I want to encourage everyone to post a profile there. I'm working on Xerek's and expect to have it up soon. That forum can be found here…
What lies in the future? I'd like to pick a day to set aside for RP. This doesn't mean you can only RP that day, it just gives a day for us to try and all shoot for. Hopefully this will light a spark and kickstart some RP. I am also working on a horror-themed RP event that can be either a self-contained event or the start of a FC story arc. I am also working on NPCs for Sundown Aetherworks, including an IC leader, each of which should have RP hooks others can run with.
At the same time I want to encourage all of you to dive in. If you want to start up RP, go for it! If you have event ideas, talk to me and we'll see what we can do. This is a group effort. Please register on both sites if you haven't already and get a profile up. If you need one or both linkshells, let me know and we'll get you onboard.
Let's put the RP back into Sundown! Well…okay…there is neither a R or a P in Sundown…but…well…you know what I mean! ^.^
